Back in the 90’s, I found a cassette tape of this beautiful 25 minute raga featuring flute by the master G.S. Sachdev. In 2002, I used it as the basis for a composition for my body-vibrating music transducer platform, the “Udderthump“.
The original (exquisite) flute performance is uncut. All I did was add effects, some additional drones, sub-bass, some swirling atmospheric effects, a flock of seagulls… For a treat, listen on your most bass-capable sound system.
