We were honored to help further the mission of the Con Alma Health Foundation: to respond to the health rights and needs of culturally and demographically diverse peoples and communities of New Mexico. As part of this website refresh, the organization was able to provide us with gorgeous photographs they had gathered over their 20+ years of operation.
Menu Redesign
The previous version of the site was difficult to navigate, with too many dropdown menus and too many options in each of those menus. We simplified the menu to acommodate three main categories: WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO, and NEWS & RESOURCES. Each of those categories deployed a “mega menu” with subpages as well as textual descriptions, downloads, etc.
Report Design
Non-profits often hire design firms to produce handsome annual reports as PDFs, only to later discover that their audience tends to review communications on a phone where PDFs are less than optimal. One of our jobs for Con Alma was to convert a lengthy print/PDF annual report into an attractive and mobile-compatible web page.
